- The Louvre Atlanta Brings Priceless Art to the South
- The Louvre Atlanta is a unique partnership between the High Museum of Art
and Musée du Louvre. Over the next three years, Atlanta's High Museum of Art
will exhibit hundreds of pieces of art from Paris' Musée du Louvre. Three
thematic exhibitions showcase the artwork, some of which have never been displayed
within the United States.
The first year of the partnership feature three thematic exhibitions. Each
of the three thematic exhibitions features a different collection of artwork.
The first exhibition, "Kings as Collectors," will be on display from October
2006 through September 2007. The second exhibition on view concurrently with
"Kings as Collectors" through January 2007 is "The King's Drawings." The third
exhibition, "Decorative Arts of the Kings," on view concurrently with "Kings
as Collectors" runs March 2007 through September 2007.
The second and third years of Louvre Atlanta will explore other themes of
art. Year two of Louvre Atlanta explores artwork collected during the Napoleonic
and enlightenment periods, a central exhibition features artwork from founding
cultures of civilization. Year three of Louvre Atlanta examines the impact
of Musée du Louvre and its art collections on world today.

- Spamalot at the Fox Theater
- The Fox Theatre presents Monty Python's
Spamalot. Theater of the Stars and Broadway In Atlanta
will perform a two-week engagement of the Tony Award-winning Best Musical
of 2005, Monty Python's Spamalot, at The Fox Theatre, from February
20 through March 4, 2007. Spamalot is a theatrical "rip off" of the cult classic,
"Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail." This limited engagement is

- Visit The World's Largest Aquarium
- The Georgia Aquarium is the largest aquarium in the world by volume. The
facility opened in November of 2005 and still remains one of the most popular
attractions in Atlanta on a daily basis. Visitors to the aquarium may visit
exhibit habitats including the world's oceans, rivers, cold waters, coral
reefs and the Georgia coast. The Georgia Aquarium is also home to the only
whale sharks on exhibit in the United States. The Georgia Aquarium is not

- Discover the History of Coca Cola
- The World of Coca Cola museum displays the history behind one of the largest
soft drink manufacturers in the world. Coca Cola was first served at a small
pharmacy in Atlanta in 1886. Coca Cola is now served over one billion times
each day in 200 countries world-wide. The museum features galleries that highlight
various periods during the Coke's existence concluding at Club Coca Cola,
where visitors may sample various flavors of Coke offered throughout the world.
