This year, SECO will again offer the
best and most diverse education
program available for all eye care
professionals. The Allied Ophthalmic
Professionals (AOP) Program
has courses and tracks for everyone
- from office assisting basics for the
new office staff to more sophisticated
and demanding programs
for senior and certified ophthalmic professionals. Our
number one goal is to enable anyone who works in the
eye care field to find exciting and challenging courses
that help improve the level of service delivered to all of
our patients.
To further enhance educational opportunities for our
AOP attendees, SECO 2006 will offer more joint classes
within the OD Program than ever before. We are proud
to present the ABO Advanced Certification Exam
Review Program designed by the National Academy
of Opticianry (NAO). Though designed to assist those
seeking their ABO Advanced Certification, all AOP
Program registrants - regardless of their certification
goals - may register for this program in its entirety or just
for the individual courses that fit your particular needs.
There also will be review courses for ABO, NCLE, and
Paraoptometric certification.
Specific tracks of courses will be available to increase
your skill level or expand your capabilities in a specialty
area, or you may simply mix and match the curriculum
to meet your own individual needs. Whichever you
decide, you won't want to miss this unique opportunity
to enhance your skills and significantly improve the care
you provide our patients.
We look forward to seeing you in Atlanta!
Sincerely,
Thomas E. Griffith, OD
Chairman, AOP Program
