    ::Pre-register to Attend SECO 2010

    Pre-registration services are now available for SECO 2010. Included in the basic optometrist continuing education program registration is admission to 15 hours of Special Session education, admission to SECO Symposiums, access to Optometry’s Marketplace™ and admission to SECO’s social and networking events including admission to lunches within the Exhibit Hall hosted on Friday and Saturday.

    Allied ophthalmic professionals (AOP) also may pre-register to attend SECO 2010. SECO 2010 will offer 131 educational courses for Allied Ophthalmic Professionals
    (AOPs), with 88 of these courses provided at no additional charge! From basic education to hands-on workshops and certification reviews, SECO 2010 will offer AOPs the opportunity to expand their skills or simply sharpen them.

    :: Celebrate Optometry’s Marketplace™ Grand Opening at Wine & Cheese Reception

    After the doors to Optometry’s Marketplace™ open, attendees can shop and browse through the hall and then celebrate its grand opening with an assortment of wine and cheese. SECO’s Wine & Cheese Reception will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. on Thursday. To allow for the large crowds on Thursday afternoon, the reception will have four stations conveniently located throughout Optometry’s Marketplace™.
    Eye care professionals can sample various wines and cheeses while shopping, networking and learning about the newest products and services offered by SECO exhibitors. An event ticket is required to receive food and beverage and is included with attendee registration materials.

    ::Prize Program Awards AOPs for Completed Coursework

    During SECO, Allied Ophthalmic Professionals (AOPs) will be eligible to win prizes just for completing their coursework. The AOP Ribbon Award and Prize Giveaway will provide AOPs the opportunity to take home one of three level prizes. When a registered AOP attendee completes four continuing education course hours on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, they will be awarded one of three ribbons and can participate in a drawing to win $25, $50, or $100 American Express® gift cards. Participants must attend 700, 800 or 900 series courses each day, including review courses.
