SECO 2010 is “Embracing the Generations.” From customizing infant eye exams to providing glaucoma treatment options for baby boomers to cataract surgery for the elderly, optometric practices are faced with providing eye care for each generation of patient. Optometric practitioners also experience generational challenges to remain informed of new clinical treatments, diagnostic equipment, fashions trends, and practice management techniques. SECO 2010’s “Embracing the Generations” theme is built around the diverse generational needs of 21st century practitioners to address the knowledge and skills necessary to provide the best possible eye care to all patients from infants to the aging. SECO International is accepting abstract educational poster proposals for publication in the Advanced Media Learning Center (AMLC) during SECO 2010, February 10-14, 2010. Educational posters are published on computers within the AMLC in a unique multimedia-format presentation (similar to a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation).
Authors must electronically submit poster abstracts online. Visit www.seco2010.com/education/amlc to submit your educational poster abstract or learn more about the Multimedia Poster program. Contact Jon Reading in the SECO office at 770-451-8206 or e-mail amlc@secostaff.com for additional information. ::SECO International Expands Online Education OfferingSECO International has expanded its 2009/2010 online education offering to include more Internet courses, podcasts, ePosters and Digital Grand Rounds.
