Save the date for SECO 2010, February 10-14, 2010, in Atlanta, Georgia. SECO International anticipates more than 7,000 eye care professionals -- including optometrists, opticians, ophthalmic technicians, paraoptometrists, and administrative staff – to attend the 87th SECO International meeting. SECO 2010 will be held in Building A of the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia. SECO 2010 also will host social and affiliate functions in the Atlanta Marriott Marquis Hotel. SECO 2010 attendees may stay in the newly-renovated Atlanta Marriott Marquis Hotel, which is the SECO headquarter hotel, the Omni Hotel at CNN Center or the Westin Peachtree Plaza. All affiliated hotels will offer special SECO rates and service. SECO 2010 is “Embracing the Generations.” SECO 2010 is The Education Destination® for the optometry profession. SECO 2010 is themed to address the needs of every generation of practitioner and prepare your practice to provide quality eye care to all groups of patients from infants to the elderly. Bermuda 2009, A Meeting of Clinical Excellence, featured 14 hours of COPE-approved continuing education presented at the Fairmont Hamilton Princess Hotel in Hamilton, Bermuda. The meeting was well-attended by both optometrists and their families. In addition to the education program, participants attended an opening reception on Thursday, a closing reception on Saturday, and a catamaran snorkeling cruise Saturday afternoon. The weather was beautiful, the water was pleasant and the education was spectacular. If you attended Bermuda 2009, we hope to see you next year. If you did not attend Bermuda 2009, we hope you will consider this great summer meeting next year. |
