Pre-registration Services for SECO 2007 ended February 2, 2007. On-site Registration for SECO 2007 will open Wednesday, February 21, 2007 at 8:00AM at the Georgia Word Congress Center. Registration packets are currently being mailed to SECO 2007 pre-registrants and SECO anticipates delivery prior to Friday, February 16, 2007. The registration packet contains all materials for SECO 2007 except badge holder and neck lanyard. Attendees may pick up badge holders and neck lanyards on-site from the Welcome Center located outside the Sidney Marcus Auditorium. A pleasant surprise in registration packets this year is a copy of the Official On-site Program so attendees may plan their SECO experience ahead of arriving in Atlanta. If you do not receive your registration packet by February 16, 2006, please contact the Registration Department; select packets have been held for on-site pickup.
    Some last-minute tips to get ready for SECO 2007:
  • Check the weather and dress appropriately. The temperature in classrooms and public areas in the Georgia World Congress Center may vary.
  • Pack your registration packet. Your registration packet contains all of your SECO 2007 materials, don't leave it at home!
  • Read the On-site Program. SECO now includes a copy of the On-site Program with your registration materials so you may read the publication prior to arriving in Atlanta. The On-site Program is a great resource for most questions about SECO 2007.
  • Arrive early if you need to visit the Registration Hall. If you intend to change your registration, please allow for time in the Registration Hall to accommodate your needs.

SECO 2007 will host more than 40 social and affiliated events at SECO 2007. Held February 21-25, 2007 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, SECO 2007 will kick off the Congress with an opening reception titled "Shaken… Not Stirred," a party inspired by "007" and featuring Bond's favorite cocktail, the martini.

Many affiliate events are on Friday evening, welcoming professionals from around the country. SECO is an annual gathering place for many of the optometry school alumni receptions, as well as numerous optometry association events. The Eye Spy Party will take place Saturday, February 24, at 9:00 PM at the famed Tabernacle. Your mission - should you choose to accept it is to rendevous with SECO at this intriguing and entertaining event.
