The winners of the Clinical Excellence Awards have been chosen!

The Clinical Excellence Awards are provided by SECO International in conjunction with three affiliated schools of optometry in Alabama, Florida and Tennessee. The awards are given to outstanding optometry students from the Southern College of Optometry, Nova Southeastern University, and University of Alabama at Birmingham.

The winners were pleasantly surprised during awards ceremonies at their respective schools at the end of the school year by receiving a check in the amount of $1,000.

And the winners are:

The purpose of DGR is to create a library of grand rounds that optometrists can research to improve their diagnostic skills. If you are interested in submitting a DGR of your own, you can submit your material online. Who knows, maybe your case will make it into Digital Grand Rounds!
