ARBO OE TRACKER LAUNCH

St. Louis, MO - The Association of Regulatory Boards of Optometry (ARBO) announced the optometric profession's first Optometric Education tracking program (OE TRACKER) in a joint news conference with program co-sponsors, Essilor of America, Inc. and Alcon.

The purpose of the OE TRACKER program is to provide the most comprehensive verification of optometric data in the profession. It is designed to capture continuing education attendance at educational meetings for transfer to the ARBO website for access by both the doctor and the state boards of optometry in order to verify attendance information needed for state continuing education requirements for license renewal.

SECO is a proud supporter of the ARBO OE Tracker and SECO events now offer the ability to provide the ARBO ID for record tracking purposes. If you are a licensed optometrist and you have not recieved your ARBO ID yet, please contact ARBO at www.arbo.org.

SECO 2005 MULTIMEDIA POSTERS

SECO was pleased with the 2005 multimedia posters that highlighted the AMLC. This year, SECO was forced to turn away great posters to display the final 50 posters that were displayed at the congress. The multimedia poster program is one of the most unique poster programs in the country, allowing presenters to take advantage of presentation tools like audio and video to present a poster that is truly "multimedia." A peer committee reviews poster abstracts to select the 50 posters that are published. Large LCD display panels show crisp images of case studies, diagrams and more at the congress center. Excellent placement in the Georgia World Congress Center make the posters a destination for attendees. After the congress, the posters are published on SECO's website. Look for the 2005 ePosters by June 1!

2006 EXHIBIT HALL SALES OPENS JUNE 1, 2005

SECO will officially open the Exhibit hall for sales beginning June 1, 2005. The Exhibit Hall sold almost 30% of available booth space during the on-site sales process, the remaining space will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. SECO encourages interested companies to contact SECO after June 1 to reserve space; space is limited and SECO anticipates a sold-out hall for the 3rd year running. Please contact the Exhibits Department at exhibits@secostaff.com for more information.
