INTERNATIONAL 2004 PROMISES TO DELIVER | | SECO
International 2004 promises to be another terrific congress. Pre-registration
is up, the Exhibit Hall is sold out, and the CE program is filling up quickly.
Mr. Jim Vrac, Executive Director, is pleased with the increased attention saying,
"The CE program has generated a huge amount of interest, especially President
Carter's speech. Clearly, SECO is delivering what eye care professionals are looking
for in terms of a unique educational experience." SECO's attendance has rebounded
significantly since the downturn that affected all meetings after 9/11. Mr. Vrac
cites SECO's loyal attendees as the key to the recovery. "SECO attendees know
that we deliver on education, value, networking opportunities, and new product
updates as no other meeting in Optometry can. SECO 2004 will set a new high water
mark for quality." SECO International 2004 will be held February 18-22, 2004,
at the Georgia World Congress Center and Marriott Marquis Hotel in Atlanta, Georgia. |

the mysteries of the X-Labs are revealed at SECO 2004! Want to learn about the
very latest in diagnostic and treatment technology available for you and your
staff? The highly secretive X-Labs staff has worked all year to successfully gather
in one place a series of half-hour presentations that will give you insights into
the newest products, services, and technologies that need to be part of your practice!
The
X-Labs is located in the Exhibit Hall and is open to visitors during Exhibit Hall
hours. Look for the X-Labs presentation schedule in the Official Program onsite.
Registration not required; first-come, first-seated. A free T-shirt will be given
away to all X-labs attendees! |

TIPS FOR SECO INTERNATIONAL 2004 ATTENDEES | | SECO
International is just a few short weeks away. Here are some tips for 2004 pre-registered
attendees: | 1 | If
you pre-registered before December 31, 2003, your registration packet was mailed
to you. Make sure you have all of the contents of the packet and you bring the
packet with you. | | 2 | If
you pre-registered before February 6, 2004, your registration packet will be available
to pick up at the Congress Center. Pre-registrants that selected the Marriott
pick up option will be able to pick their packet up at the Marriott Marquis on
Wednesday, February 19, 2004, from 4:00 PM-9:00 PM. | | 3 | Exhibits
Only pre-registrants may pickup their registration material at the Exhibits Registration
Desk in the Congress Center. |
If
you did not pre-register, you can still register onsite! Registration opens Wednesday,
February 19, 2004, at 7:00 AM for the Continuing Education program and 8:00 AM
for Exhibits Only attendance. Plan for extra time if you need to register onsite;
lines will be long as attendance is expected to be high. |
