Answer:

This mass was diagnosed as an ulcerative pyogenic granuloma secondary to the injury. The lesion was excised in the OR and the mass was sent to a pathologist for evaluation. The pathologist confirmed that the diagnosis was correct...'Sections reveal an acute, chronic granulomatous abscess, including rare giant cell formation with intense infiltrate of acute and chronic inflammatory cells. There is ulceration focally, consistent with eyelid.
